I gather small joys
in my pockets:
a brilliant leaf,
a smooth stone,
the sound of your voice
carried far.
These lighten me
and I lift from the sidewalk,
float above the city.
All turns to geometry
surrounded by green
and a spider thread
of routes
for earth-bound souls.
None see my flight.
None think
to look up.
After adding clouds
and sunlight
to my treasures,
I’ve yet to land.
Stunning, magical
this picked me up today! Thanks
