Metaphysics

For any who sorrow.  Will aim for something happier tomorrow.

Exchanging Presence

Wasting body
curls, fetal and feral
around a razor wire
drawn in an endless straight line through the gut,

waits for some thundering blue god,
is visited with an unnoticed kiss.

Small hands
gather breath released beyond knowing,
then thin, velvet sheened wings flutter and rise
leaving behind a large, sharp stone of animal grief
for others to carry.
