29 April poem

Mythos III

Envious Moon
always stares
at Earth’s blue eye
which brightens and clouds
with endless emotion.

She chews sideways
in frustration,
restlessly nibbles at stars
and devours night.

Both fire and darkness
pass unaltered, indigestible
to her cold, jealous stone.
